Voice Activated Translation Selection
How many times have you been in church, Bible Study or somewhere else where someone was reading their Bible to you, and you wanted to follow along, only to realize they were reading from a different translation.
My suggestion is to add a feature that "hears" what is being read and then determines what translation it or what translation it could be. The user would then be able to:
- Pick the 1st choice translation the mobile app picked.
- Pick another choice the mobile app picked.
- Do nothing (continue reading in your preferred translation)
This would take a bit of programming and searching, but the technology is already there. If I speak another language into my Android OS, it automatically translates it, and displays it on the screen. I am sure you gals/guys should be able to do the same with the variety of Bible translations that there are.
If you're not sure what I mean, think of the app Shazam, which listens to music and then TELLS YOU the name, artist and album. Its the same idea.
And when you market this, Logos v9 with VATS (Voice Activated Translation Selection) looks and sounds amazing, although I'm sure you'll call it something else.
Anyway....let me know what you think, I think its a game changer that will definitely help people follow along during Bible reading & from a marketing perspective, create buzz and attention.
